MARQUETTE, Mich.-Northern Michigan University’s aviation maintenance technology program and Envoy Airlines are hosting a joint open house from 4:30-8 p.m. Thursday, March 5. The event will be held at the Envoy facility at Sawyer International Airport (507 Fourth Street). It will explore Marquette County employment opportunities in the field, highlight NMUâs program as one of the pathways to a career and explain how veterans might obtain credit for their military experience that would be applicable to a civilian position in aviation maintenance technology. An information session will be offered twice: from 4:30-6 p.m. or 6:30-8 p.m. Between sessions, attendees can take a guided tour of the facility led by Envoy personnel.
