CineArts Films Premieres Foreign Films at Peter White Library

CineArts Films at Peter White Public Library, a series devoted to foreign and independent films, presents the movie “Fill the Void” on Friday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room.

A captivating love story set in an orthodox community in Tel Aviv. A devout 18-year-old girl is pressured to marry the husband of her beloved late sister. Declaring her independence is not an option in Tel Aviv’s Orthodox Hasidic community, where religious law, tradition and the rabbi’s
word are absolute.

2012. In Hebrew with English subtitles. 90 minutes. Introduced by Karlyn Rapport from Temple Beth Sholom in Ishpeming. Free admission. Call 226-4309 or visit www.pwpl.info for more information.
