Marquette Empty Bowls Soup Lunch March 20th at the Marquette Alternative High School

This year’s Marquette Empty Bowls Soup Lunch is happening 11:00am to 1:30pm, March 20 at Marquette Alternative High School (1175 Erie Street, Marquette Township).

NMU Ceramics Collective hand crafted bowls for the event, which our students at the high school beautifully hand painted. We’re also working with NMU Marquette Fighting Hunger. Anyone who comes to the soup lunch will get a bowl to take home, and will be supporting “Operation Aoy” and “Freedom From Hunger.”

We would love any press you can give on this great cause, which a lot of area youth and college students have put a lot of time and passion into. We have students who would be willing to give an interview for a feature story.
