Marquette – The Beaumier Coffee House Concert Series will present two folk music acts, the duo Aalotar and singer/songwriter Eli Hebel on Saturday, February 7 at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University.
Aallotar plays a transatlantic collaboration revisiting the earlier days of Finnish folk music to make a freshly minted sound.
Eli Hebl will showcase his extensive experience as a performer and songwriter as he plays his original and soothing folk music.
This event kicks off the Beaumier Heritage Center’s celebration, FINNtastic February, which celebrates the traditions, culture and people of Finland. Admission is free.
