Marquette – Bluesday Tuesday will present the local band “U.P. Gumbo” in concert on Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
“U.P. Gumbo” is a Marquette based folk group specializing in the dance music of the Mississippi Delta and the New Orleans region. Their music is infused with the sounds of the Delta Blues, Zydeco and early rock and roll.
There is no admission charge to attend the event which is co-sponsoredby the Marquette Area Blues Society and the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library.
