Marquette – Shakespeare Readers will meet for a reading of “Richard II” by William Shakespeare on Wednesday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This history play, written about 1595, is based on the life of King Richard II of England who ruled from 1377 to 1399. Shakespeare Readers is a group for anyone who is intrigued with reading aloud the works of William Shakespeare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
