NMU Offers Canadian Heritage Tour

Marquette, MI-January 22, 2015-The Beaumier Upper Peninsula Heritage Center at Northern Michigan University and Checker Tours will offer a chartered coach trip to Ontario and Québec as part of the Canadian Heritage Tour. The dates are Sept. 19-28, but initial deposits of $300 are requested soon to secure a reservation.

The tour includes guided tours of historic sites and museums in Ottawa, Montréal, Québec City and Trois Riviéres. There will also be two free days built into the trip so that participants can tour the cities and countryside on their own.

Prices are $1,298 for double occupancy and $1,988 for single (singles can be paired, if possible, to secure the double rate). The fee covers lodging, transportation, tours, museum fees and three special meals during the trip. Trip insurance and car rental is available for an additional fee. A valid enhanced driver’s license or U.S. Passport is required.

For more information or to reserve a spot on the tour, contact Lane Dawson of Checker Tours at 906-486-8697.
