Marquette, MI-January 19, 2015-Andrea Scarpino, author of the poetry collection Once, Then and the chapbook, The Grove Behind, will hold a reading at Northern Michigan University. The reading will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, in the Charcoal Room of the University Center.
Scarpino received a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Ohio State University and is completing her doctorate in creative writing from Bath Spa University. She teaches in the doctoral program at Union Institute and University. She has had works published in numerous journals, including The Cincinnati Review, Los Angeles Review and Prairie Schooner.
