Marquette – The Transition Marquette County Reading Group will hold a conversation about “Sacred Demise” and/or “Collapsing Consciously”, two books by Carolyn Baker, on Thursday, January 8, at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Baker, a psychotherapist and professor of psychology and history, is renowned for writings and workshops on emotional resilience in challenging times. Looking at the collapse of industrial civilization due to peak oil and climate disruption, she encourages us to find a way to live well, even in difficult times.
