Marquette – Shakespeare Readers will meet for a reading of “The Tempest” on Wednesday, December 3 at 6:30 pm in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Thought by many critics to be the last play that Shakespeare wrote alone, “The Tempest” is set on a remote island, where Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, plots to restore his daughter Miranda to her rightful place using illusion and skillful manipulation.
Shakespeare Readers is a group for anyone who is intrigued with reading the works of William Shakespeare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
