Houghton – The Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra will present “Echoes of the North” on Saturday, February 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rozsa Center in Houghton.
The collage-style concert is a collaboration between the KSO, conductor Milton Olsson, bassist-composer Evan Premo, soprano Mary Bonhag, Nordic fiddler Laurel Premo and White Water, and will feature music of Finland and the Upper Peninsula, including classical, traditional, folk and contemporary styles. Also featured will be the nature photography of Charles Eshbach.
Tickets cost $15 for the general public, $7 for ages 18 and younger and free for MTU students. Order tickets online at www.rozsa.mtu.edu.
