Marquette – The International Craft Sale and Alternative Gift Market will be held on Friday, December 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, December 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 201 E. Ridge Street, Marquette.
There will be light refreshments available free of charge. On Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. in support of the Harbor House/Women’s Center, St. Paul’s Men’s Kitchen will be offering homemade soups and freshly baked bread. A Saturday bake sale will help support Haiti, and the White Elephant Sale monies will go to Camp New Day.
This event helps support artisans from around the world, allowing people in poverty-stricken and war-torn areas to receive fair prices for their work and provide for their own sustenance. In addition to beautiful, handmade gifts from nearly every continent, the sale features alternative gifts that directly give to those who need it in honor of your gift recipient.
