Afternoon Classic Film: Witness for the Prosecution – November 3rd

Marquette, MI – Afternoon Classic Films presents a screening of “Witness for the Prosecution” starring Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich and Charles Laughton on Monday, November 3 at 1:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

This six time Academy Award nominated film is director Billy Wilder’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s international stage success. Poor inventor, Leonard Vole, is arrested on suspicion of murdering an elderly acquaintance. He employs an experienced but aging barrister as his defense attorney.

Released in 1957, “Witness for the Prosecution” is shown in black and white and runs for 116 minutes.
