Marquette Farmers Market Will Continue Through December

MARQUETTE, MI October 21, 2014 – The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market season will continue on Saturdays, rain or shine, at the Marquette Commons through December 20, 2014. Beginning November 1, the time will change to 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Late Fall Market will consist of a variety of vendors each week.The market will feature: meat; eggs; maple syrup; honey; jam; baked goods and mixes; jam and late season produce. Choose from a large selection of the freshest small farm produced food to fill your freezer; pantry and holiday tables. Locally made wine; bean to bar chocolate and locally roasted coffee will be available for those looking for something a little more indulgent. Additionally, one can find local artisans featuring gift quality handmade soaps and body care items; wooden toys, utensils and crafts; hand crafted knives and jewelry; along with a wide variety of goods made from wool, paper, leather and glass.

The Downtown Marquette Late Fall Farmers Market is cash only. Hoophouses for Health voucher will be accepted by qualified farmers as well. For more information regarding the market please visit www.mqtfarmersmarket.com.
