MARQUETTE – The organ transplant journey, from prospective donors and recipients to the surgeons who perform the intricate surgeries and those involved in the recovery process, will be explored during a panel presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Speakers will include organ transplant recipients and representatives from the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Marquette General Hospital.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in Jamrich Hall 1100 at Northern Michigan University. It is presented by the Northern Center for Lifelong Learning, MGH-Duke LifePoint and NMU’s School of Nursing. The public is invited free of charge. Registered nurses who attend will earn CEUs.
