Marquette – SORRY, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO iNCLEMENT WEATHER. THE EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11. Fire Prevention Week will kick off with a static display of firefighting apparatus and emergency vehicles from every department in Marquette County on Saturday, October 4 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Harlow Park in Marquette.
Parents and children will be able to tour equipment from their community and others. The static display ends with a parade of fire trucks leaving Harlow Park and continuing down Washington Street.
