Escanaba, MI – Jeanine Dagenais, Chairperson of First Bank, Upper Michigan, announced the election of Brian Larche to the Board of Directors.
Larche is President & CEO of Engineered Machine Products (EMP). In 1991, he and local investors a cquired the business from Freudenberg-NOK. He is a graduate of Michigan Technological University, and under his leadership, EMP has positioned itself as a leader in the engineering, manufacturing and assembly of highly complex, precision-machined thermal and oil management products, with a strong emphasis on automation.
EMP is headquartered in Escanaba, Michigan and employs over 400 individuals within the organization’s four facilities in Michigan and Indiana.
EMP has been widely recognized for their engineering, manufacturing and advanced product development capabilities. They are recipients of the prestigious “Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Award” and have been honored three times with the “Design News Magazine’s Excellence in Engineering Award.”
Both personally and professionally, Larche has made a strong commitment to the Upper Peninsula and has continued to play an active role in supporting the youth of Delta County with monetary contributions and gifts of time.
He and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of two children, Brandon (Kristen) and Brooke (Bob) Prins, and the grandparents of four.
