Marquette – The Northern Michigan University music department is exploring the possibility of forming a community advisory committee with the goal of advancing the department’s mission. An exploratory meeting for interested community arts supporters, alumni and music teachers will be held on Saturday, September 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. in Bresnan room 2810 in the West Science Building.
The meeting will address the pros, cons and logistics related to forming such a group. Those planning to attend are asked to notify the department at music@nmu.edu.
