Calendar – Music/Education – Crossing Paths – June 1

Marquette – “Crossing Paths,” an event uniting local musicians and farmers, will be held on Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m.at Kaufman Auditorium.

“Crossing Paths” celebrates Marquette’s rich history and the people who’ve made it. In addition to serving as the CD release party for Harvest Queen, a collaborative effort between Marquette-native and spirited fiddler, Bob Bernard and Boulder’s violin virtuoso, Kailin Yong, the night will feature short talks from the runners of local farms and food groups.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 13 to 17 and free for those 12 and under. Tickets will be available at doors and in advance at Marquette Food Co-op and Shady Grove Farm U.P.

A violin master class by Kailin prior to the performance at 2 p.m. The cost of the workshop is $5.
