The Shiras Planetarium, located at the Marquette Senior High School, will present “Live Sky” and “Icy Worlds” on Monday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.
The evening will begin with a live presentation that covers the spring constellations currently seen in our skies as well as objects of interest this month.
The feature presentation will be focusing on the ever expanding group of worlds known as Icy Worlds. These worlds, often moons of the outer solar system, are slowly revealing their fascinating secrets due to the work done by scientists and robot explorers.
Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens. No unattended children are allowed.
