Gladstone – The Red Cross fundraiser “Ride for the Red” will begin with a street dance on Friday July 17 along the 900 block of Delta Avenue in Gladstone.
Vendors will serve food and drinks from 5 to 10 p.m., with a cash bar selling beer. Music by Driver will begin at 7 p.m.
Community members may join bikers and event volunteers for a pancake breakfast on Saturday, July from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the Gladstone Sports Park. At 9 a.m. the biker parade will leave the park and loop back through downtown, then riders will embark on the fundraiser ride.
There will be a pig roast at 5:30 p.m. and a concert featuring Manic at 7:30 p.m. at the sports park.
Dinner/concert tickets cost $10. Dance tickets cost $5. Bring folding chairs or a blanket.
