MARQUETTE – UPCAP is providing a FREE “Matter of Balance Workshop.” Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities.
A MATTER OF BALANCE is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. When someone is afraid to fall they are less likely to leave their house but the lack of physical movement can weaken our bodies making us more vulnerable to fall. Class will be offered at the Gwinn Clubhouse starting Monday’s Sept. 15th through Nov. 3rd from 4pm-6pm. Class size is limited, registration is required.
