Alberta – The 60th Anniversary of the Ford Center Car Show and Tours will be offered on Saturday, August 9 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Ford Center in Alberta.
The car show is open to all make and models and there will be a special category for vehicles from 1954 to 2014. The tours and programs will include presentations by MTU students and faculty members performing research and management on Ford Center lands, as well as field trips to sites that are utilized in the School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science curriculum.
Entrance to the car show and all tours and field trips are free. There will also be a special presentation by Bob Kreipke, Ford Motor Company Historian, a pig roast and a dance in the evening.
