Hydrant Testing 2014

Subject: Annual Hydrant Testing

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – The Marquette Fire Department will be conducting its annual fire hydrant testing in the City of Marquette starting Monday July 14th and continuing through Sept. 15th. This year’s test area will be located between Seventh St. and McClellan Ave. to the north and south boundaries of the City. Fire Department Officials ask that drivers use caution when approaching flowing hydrants and working firefighters. Homeowners may notice slightly discolored water for a short period of time during testing in their area. The Marquette Fire Department thanks you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
