Becky Saves The Bees Performance Rescheduled to August 17th

Marquette, Michigan – Due to inclement weather, the original children’s play Becky Saves the Bees has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 17 at 5 p.m. in the band shell on Presque Isle in Marquette.

This free performance is put on by E.A.R.T.H. Angels, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization using aerial performance art to raise awareness of environmental issue. Becky Saves the Bees will teach participants and audiences the global importance of pollinators and the epidemic Colony Collapse Disorder or CCD. The production will include singing, dancing, EcoSuperheros, aerial bees and butterflies.

Audience participation is encouraged. Children dressed as pollinators will be invited on stage to be a part of the performance. For additional information, contact the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center at 906-228-0472 or e-mail arts-culture@mqtcty.org.
