MARQUETTE, Mich. — Krystyna Rickauer of Marquette is the recipient of the Stan Whitman Memorial Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 school year.
To be eligible for the scholarship students must be an athlete in basketball, football, swimming or hockey and are Upper Peninsula residents. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and preference is given to applicants who are enrolled in the Walker L. Cisler College of Business, the school of education or the school of nursing.
The Stan Whitman Memorial Scholarship was established in March 1994 by the family and friends of Stan Whitman.
