MARQUETTE, Mich. — Joshua Rajala of Marquette is the recipient of the Olive Pendill Nursing Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 year.
To be eligible for the scholarship students must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing and have the intention of entering the field of nursing.
The Olive Pendill Nursing Scholarship was established in 1985 by Gertrude W. Pendill in memory of Pendill’s late aunt, Olive Pendill, who served as a nurse supervisor in the U.S. Amry in Cuba.
