Marquette – Lovers of good music, good writing and delicious coffee are invited to the Book Notes Coffeehouse with U.P. singer/songwriter Michael Waite and Traverse City author Cari Noga on Monday, July 14 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Michael Waite opens the evening performing with his acoustic fingerpicking style and smooth vocals highlighting his beautifully crafted songs. Highlight of the coffeehouse is a dialogue with Cari Noga, author of the 2013 book, “Sparrow Migrations.”
Caroline Jordan, retired PWPL reference librarian serves as the evening’s conversation host. A book and cd sale and signing opportunity will wind up the evening
which will feature freshly roasted Dead River Coffee for refreshment.
