HOUGHTON, MICHIGAN – PJ Olsson’s Rock Camp is back for another exciting program of inspired music for talented young musicians. Heading into the program’s fifth year, the 2014 Rock Camp will be in session July 21 – August 1. Young musicians, ages 11 to 19, are encouraged to register for the program and participate in the open audition process. The final Rock Camp performance will rock the Rozsa Center on Saturday, August 2, 2014.
“We are trying something a little different this year with auditions,” says Todd Brassard, the camp’s Program Director. “We are asking kids to submit video auditions created with their mobile devices or web cams.” The video audition format is a natural extension of the program’s tactic of leveraging of social media for promoting the final concert.
