MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – Peter White Public Library invites film fans to a BYO Dinner Theater event on Wednesday June 25 at 5:30 pm to enjoy a screening of “Strings” in the library’s Community room.
“Strings” is an artful, mythic fantasy film about the son of supposedly assassinated ruler who sets out to seek revenge for his father’s death. The film’s characters are wonderfully carved marionettes whose strings are part of the fictional world as life strings and features the vocal talents of James McAvoy (X-Men), Catherine McCormack (Spy Games, Braveheart) and Julian Glover (Game of Thrones).
This award winning multi-national animated adventure drama is famed for its innovative cinematography and scenic design and will provide a unique theatrical experience for all ages.
“Strings” was released in 2004, is rated PG and runs for 91 minutes.
BYO Dinner Theater welcomes the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy a feature film, in a dinner theater setting. There is no admission charge thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
