The Marquette Regional History Center Presents Ives Lake 2014 Fundraiser June 8th

Sunday, June 8th
Meet at the gate at 1:00 p.m.

MARQUETTE, MI – Don’t miss this opportunity to visit a J.M. Longyear vacation home, the beautiful Stonehouse on Ives Lake. The walking tour has been expanded this year to include another building and the tour will be lead by Longyear’s great grandson, John Case. You can take a hike up “Breakfast Roll” to view the Huron Mountain Club scenery (New for 2014) and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and wine. $75 per person. Tickets are on sale now through June 4th and are limited.

In addition to a wonderful day on Ives Lake, you will have the opportunity to bid on a rare experience. To the winning bidder, John Case and his lovely wife, Patricia, will host 4 friends at Minong, his cabin on Ives Lake. The day (a mutually agreeable date during the 2014 season) will include a short hike to the Fungus Fortress and to The Outlet, and great conversation over dinner at Minong with the Cases. This will be an experience you won’t forget! Live auction for this rare opportunity will take place during the Ives Lake Fundraiser for the History Center.

All proceeds will benefit the MRHC.  Please visit www.marquettehistory.org, like us on Facebook, or call 906-226-3571 for more information on this event.
