Recital at Peter White Public Library on January 5th

MARQUETTE, MI – Enjoy a Sunday afternoon recital at Peter White Public Library showcasing the musical talents of Dr. Nancy Redfern, piano and Dr. Barbara Rhyneer, violin on Sunday, January 5 at 1:30pm in the library’s community room.

The centerpiece of the concert will the Violin Sonata No. 1 by Robert Schumann. Dr. Rhyneer and Dr. Redfern are members of the music department at NMU, and the Marquette Symphony. Dr. Rhyneer teaches strings, plays celtic fiddle and is conductor of the NMU Orchestra. Dr. Redfern teaches piano, organ and harp.

There is no admission charge to the concert thanks to sponsorship by the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
