Marquette, Mich. — Northern Michigan University senior piano student, Andrew Graham, will present a solo recital on Sunday, Nov. 17. The event begins at 5 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. It is free and open to the public.
Graham is a student of professor Nancy Redfern. He will perform a variety of solo piano works, ranging in eras and styles to include pieces from Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin and George Gershwin.
The recital also includes a performance of John Cage’s 1942 work, “The Wonderful Widow of Eighteen Springs,” with accompaniment by NMU student and mezzo-soprano Hannah Moran.
