MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – Peter White Public Library invites film fans to a BYO Dinner Theater event on Thursday, June 12 at 5:30 pm to enjoy a screening of “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” in the library’s Community room. Part two of The Hobbit, from the directors of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, which is based on the books by J. R. R Tolkien. The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring.
Three time Oscar nominee starring , Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage, the film was released in 2013, is rated PG-13 and runs for 161 minutes.
BYO Dinner Theater welcomes the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film, in a dinner theater setting.
