“High Heels for Healing” Fundraisers Starts April 30th

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN—the Cherry Creek Elementary School staff along with Cherry Creek School Association is hosting a fundraiser to support Cherry Creek Principal Tami Bott and her family. The fundraiser is called “High Heels for Healing” because Mrs. Bott is known for her high heels. T-shirts ($10) and wristbands ($2) will be sold in order provide assistance to Mrs. Bott and her family.

Tami Bott has been the principal at Cherry Creek Elementary School since the 2010-2011 school year. She was diagnosed with cancer and has been battling it for almost five years. Since she has been a supporter of everything Cherry Creek for so long, the staff decided it was time they supported her. Order forms will be sent home with the students, however if a member of the community would like to purchase a t-shirt or a wristband, the Cherry Creek staff will be selling T-shirts at the following locations:

MSHS sales will be on May 1st and May 6th from 7:00 am to 7:30 am both days – Canopy entrance and in the high school office hallway.

Marquette Alternative High School sales will be on April 30th and May 7th.

In the Westwood Mall in front of Younkers on May 3rd and May 10th, Noon to 3:00 p.m. on both days.

For additional information, please contact the Cherry Creek Elementary School office at 225-4399 or Jen Erickson at jerickson@mapsnet.org or 225-4399.
