Sister Cities Search For Host Families

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – The Marquette Sister City Program in conjunction with the Sister City Advisory Committee is looking for 10 interested area families to host delegates from our Sister City, Higashiomi, Japan this summer. The delegates will arrive on July 23, 2014 and depart on August 4, 2014.

This is the 35th year of the Marquette-Higashiomi program. These Delegation visits support the long-standing principles of the Sister City Program of cultural understanding and international friendship between Marquette and Higashiomi.

Applications will be available at the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center located in the lower level of the Peter White Library. For any questions, contact the MACC at 228-0472 or e-mail arts-culture@mqtcty.org
