MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – In celebration of May as Mental Health month, the Peter White Public Library hosts a noontime drop-in informational session on Relaxation and Stress Reduction on Tuesday, May 6 at 12:00pm in the library’s Community Room.
Stress is unavoidable, but it can be managed and controlled. Learn the difference between good stress and bad stress and learn techniques to reduce or manage the stress in your life.
Presenter Paul Olson, LMSW, CAADC, is a therapist with Great Lakes Recovery Centers in Ishpeming.
There is no admission charge and no pre-registration is required. Attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch.
This Lunch & Learn presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of community groups and the Peter White Public Library.
