The Western Marquette County Health Foundation is partnering with the YMCA of Marquette County through the Head to Head Bike Race, previously known as the Bell Bike Race.
The event is taking place on May 3, 2014 at the YMCA’s new Negaunee facility. This is the area’s only indoor bike race and allows a unique level to the competition as you can both look your opponent in the eye as you race and cheer on your team members the entire way.
Whether the relay spots are filled with 1, 3 or 6 people is up to you! Each team is encouraged to raise funds for their team registration. The minimum amount suggested is $50/person; this breaks down to just five friends pledging $10 to your cause! Prizes are awarded for the teams and individuals that raise the most funds, so encourage your family, friends or local businesses to support your goal!
Registration – 8:00AM First relay – 9:00AM Relays complete – 12:00PM Prizes Awarded – 12:30PM
Riders will receive t-shirts and racer bags and the opportunity to win additional awards. Prizes are awarded on individual and team effort for areas like distance traveled, funds raised, and spirit.
You will have until April 25th to line-up your team members, and until May 3rd to raise or contribute the suggested registration fee.
