Marquette – Medea Benjamin will speak on “Drone Warfare: Killing by Remote Control” on Monday, March 31 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White
Public Library and on “The Ethics of Drone Warfare” on Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in the Michigan/Huron Rooms in the University Center and Northern Michigan University.
Benjamin is the Co-founder of Code Pink, and the human rights advocacy group, Global Exchange. She has written eight books and during President Obama’s counterterrorism speech several months ago, Benjamin interrupted with facts about the cost of drone warfare in human lives.
