The Marquette Regional History Center presents: Character, Courage and Commitment March 12th

March is Women’s History Month. We will introduce you to a number of area women including Anita Meyland, advocate for the Arts in Marquette and one of the original founders of “Art on the Rocks”, Martha Hatch who worked as a public health nurse around the country in the 1920s and 1930s and Abby Roberts, an advocate for women’s suffrage. All have made significant contributions to our area and we will celebrate their legacies. There is a $5 Suggested donation for this event.
