Marquette- Lake Superior Hospice will be hosting its Spring Volunteer Training Friday, April 11 from 6-8:00pm & Saturday, April 12 from 9am – 3pm at the Lake Superior Hospice office, which is located at 914 W Baraga Ave in Marquette.
Volunteers are needed for office assistance, making friendly visits to our patients, providing caregiver relief or respite care for families, veteran to veteran program, and community outreach and fundraising.
Our volunteer team is comprised of 60+ amazing individuals…ranging from 18 years old to 85 years old. On average our volunteers put in almost 2,000 hours per year. The Lake Superior Hospice volunteer team is honored to have received the Marquette County Volunteer Program Award and the Upper Peninsula Outstanding Volunteer Service Award!
Lake Superior Hospice is a community-based non-profit organization serving Marquette and Alger County since 1979, Lake Superior Hospice provides quality care for the patients that are facing a life limiting illness.
