The Marquette Regional History Center presents: The Great Fire Walking Tour

Wednesday, June 11 6:30 p.m. meet at the Bell Tower at the end of Washington Street. One of the most significant events in Marquette’s history was the great downtown fire of 1868. On the 146th anniversary of the inferno, join Jim Koski on a walking tour of the areas affected, finding out where (and how) the fire started, how much damage it caused, and learn how the blaze shaped the downtown Marquette we know today.

$5 Suggested donation. Please visit www.marquette history.org or call 906-226-3571 for more info.
