The 2014 spring turkey season runs from April 21 through May 31, with hunts lasting from seven to 41 days, depending on the hunt unit. Hunters may purchase a license for just one hunt. A total of 114,140 licenses are available, including 49,140 general licenses and 65,000 private-land licenses.

Information about spring turkey hunting can be found at www.michigan.gov/turkey.

Beginning March 3, applicants can check whether they were drawn for a license at www.michigan.gov/huntdrawings. Any leftover licenses will be sold until the quota is met in each hunt unit and hunt period.
