Wildcat Market Offers Student-Made Goods at Wildcat Market Every Friday

MARQUETTE, Mich. — A Wildcat Market held every Friday at Northern Michigan University transforms the University Center into a walk-through marketplace of handmade art, jewelry and other goods. It is held from noon to 4 p.m. in the atrium near the NMU Bookstore entrance and sponsored by the Associated Students of Northern Michigan University (ASNMU). The public is invited.

“The Wildcat Market encourages students to gain experience with talking to customers and selling merchandise and gives them an opportunity to promote their handmade crafts or budding businesses in a real-world marketplace, said director Analicia Honkenen,

Students interested in becoming a vendor at the Wildcat Market can email asnmu@nmu.edu for application information.
