The average retail price for home heating oil rose 12 cents from a week ago to $4.18 per gallon. That’s up 13 cents from a year ago, based on the residential heating fuel survey by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Heating oil prices in the New England region rose to 4.13 per gallon, up 9.8 cents from last week, and up 12.9 cents from a year ago.
