A benefit concert to raise funds for the Seva Foundation's Native American grants program will be held on Thursday, April 18 at UpFront and Company in Marquette.
The benefit will kick off with a free open house from 5 to 7 p.m. with Elda Tate of the NMU music department performing on Native American Flute.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. with opening band Dub District, followed by the reggae band Jah Kings.
There will also be a silent auction, door prizes, and Native American song and dance.
Advance tickets are $10 for NMU students and employees, $12 for the general public, and are available at UpFront and Company, Dead River Coffee, and in Room 3001 of the New Science Facility at NMU. Tickets at the door will be $15.
