Shakespeare Readers will meet on Wednesday, January 8 at 6:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library’s Shiras Room for a reading of “King Lear.”

Written around 1603, this tragedy features the downfall of the king who descends into madness after disposing of his estate between two of his three daughters based on their flattery, bringing tragic consequences for all.

Shakespeare Readers is a group for anyone who is intrigued with reading the works of William Shakespeare. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
