Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will hold a training session for kids interested in joining its Kid Bizness Program on Friday, December 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum.
The program is designed to assist young entrepreneurs, ages eight to 18, in developing, marketing, packaging and selling original products. With funding from a grant from the Davenport Foundation, the museum developed the program and included a portion of Sprout, its gift and toy store, for products created by Upper Peninsula youth.
The youth must create their own products at home or elsewhere. The Museum will not be providing supplies or production facilities. The program is open to all young people from throughout the Upper Peninsula. To register for the training, contact Jim Edwards at 226-3911, or at museummrjim@gmail.com.
