Marquette – U. P. native Yvonne Lockwood will present the program “Traditional Material Culture in Modern Finnish America” on Friday, December 6 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
As part of the 96th Finnish Independence Day observation, the national anthems of Finland and the U.S. will be sung, and additional music will be provided by the MidSummer Strings. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
