Marquette – The 2013 Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s holiday lectures will explore how advances in genomics are leading to a better understanding of disease and to improved treatments. “Sizing Up the Brain” will be offered on Thursday, December 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. and “Cancer as a Genetic Disease” from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. via live webcast in Mead Auditorium at NMU.
The events are open to the public and free of charge.
